The Road Less Traveled
Are you doing something with IR that no one else, or very few people are doing?
IR photography is in itself an "out-of-the-box" endeavor, but are you going down blue highways and breaking a bit of ground in the process?
If you are ready to share, please do.
We would love to see what's happening out there on the edge of the edge.

This is my personal pick for filters. They are the least expensive and IMO, the highest quality. It's an eBay store. I have purchased four filters from this seller and won't buy anywhere else.

The dreaded Hot Spot! Recently I tested 8 lenses on my 30D for the Hot Spot and none of them showed a hint of one. These are older manual focus FSU and some Japanese manual focus Takumar lenses. To learn about these jewels and how to adapt them to various bodies check this excellent forum

Why are many digital cameras called crop cameras? How is it that certain cameras, when stopped down past F16, make fuzzier images? Does sensor size really matter? Suggested by member Michael, this and several other issues of importance are addressed in this interactive article that is a should nudging must read for all users of digital cameras. Highly recommended |
